Law Practice
Responsibilities
Draft, prepare, and proofread litigation documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and correspondence
E‑file documents in Pennsylvania state and federal courts (including Philadelphia systems)
Assist with trial preparation: exhibits, binders, witness lists, and logistics
Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, and reminders
Organize and manage case files (digital and physical)
Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and service of process
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Assist with discovery responses, document production, and basic legal research
Support attorneys with billing, scheduling, and general administrative work
Qualification
Required
1–5 years of litigation legal assistant or paralegal experience
Familiarity with Pennsylvania and Philadelphia court rules and e‑filing
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal practice management tools
Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast‑moving environment
Professional, reliable, and highly attentive to detail
Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
