Responsibilities
Lead core month-end close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries
Own the fixed asset process including capitalization, project tracking, reporting, and subledger accuracy
Partner with leadership to rebuild and strengthen the fixed asset subledger, policies, and controls
Assist with lease accounting and ensure accurate monthly activity
Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal reporting and sponsor reviews
Identify gaps in current processes and recommend improvements
Collaborate with Operations and FP&A on capital projects and month-end deliverables
Support system modernization efforts and future ERP transition
Assist with additional close, reporting, and analysis projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA required
3 to 5 years of accounting experience (public accounting, industry, or a combination)
Strong understanding of GAAP
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with evolving priorities
Strong communicator with a proactive, collaborative mindset
Preferred
Experience supporting close, process improvements, and scaling environments
