Responsibilities
Oversee and manage multiple tool and die programs from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to meet project objectives
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues proactively
Travel to suppliers overseas on a 4-week basis to:
Check job status
Assist with tryout issues
Conduct tool and die buyoffs
Monitor progress, resolve technical or logistical challenges, and ensure alignment with company goals
Collaborate with overseas team members to ensure seamless execution of international projects
Track and report project performance using internal reporting systems and documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
Minimum three (3) years of experience in program management in manufacturing
Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a 4-week basis, possibly 3-4 times annually
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Preferred
Experience in the tool and die or automotive industry
Understanding international project management and supplier coordination is a plus
