The Director of Operations is responsible for organizing, directing, and controlling operational activities to achieve cost and profit objectives, ensuring all work complies with contract specifications.

Responsibilities

Possess a detailed knowledge of the operations at each site (contract, scope of work, building type, client nuances, etc..)

Assure the delivery and execution of all contracted janitorial services within the division

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at all client locations

Maintain frequent communication and contact across all client sites via phone calls, emails, and site visits

Work closely with supervisors and managers to develop their operational knowledge and management capabilities

Continuously monitor the overall performance of each site and make appropriate changes as needed

Work directly with client and internal teams to ensure billing and collections are processed in a timely manner

Partner with local and national 3rd party vendors and suppliers for onsite material, supplies and equipment

Negotiate modifications to compensation or staffing plans based on site specific needs

Work with sales team to develop and grow the business / represent the GDI brand

Oversight of all employees within the division with direct supervision of all employees reporting to sites within territory including but not limited Account Managers, Area/District Managers, and Regional Operations Managers
