They are seeking a Strategic Initiatives Intern to support their organizational strategy by conducting research, preparing materials for executive leadership, and coordinating strategic projects.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of ULSE’s multi-year organizational strategy by conducting research and synthesizing insights on industry trends, technology, and policy

Assist in preparing strategic updates, presentations, and briefing materials for executive leadership

Help coordinate and deliver on a cross-functional strategic project, for example technology roadmaps and new product/service evaluations

Monitor external developments in standards and safety advocacy, summarizing findings to inform ULSE’s strategic priorities and decisions

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program in a related field

Strong interest in the non-profit sector related to safety, social or environmental issues, and/or strategy, organizational development, or management

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear actions

Excellent communication and writing skills

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred

Experience with data analytics or visualization tools is a plus
