Corporate FP&A Intern

CRH is a leading provider of utility infrastructure solutions for the water, energy, and communications markets throughout North America. The Corporate FP&A Intern will work with the Senior Financial Analyst to contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes while recommending improvements for current processes and assisting in developing review tools for SG&A reporting.

Responsibilities

Monthly reporting tasks including creating the monthly performance book, review of SG&A, tracking strategic projects and initiatives
Documentation of (new) processes
Recommend improvements of processes
Assist on developing review tools for SG&A reporting
Assist on ad hoc business analysis to turn data into insights across functions
Perform financial analysis and modeling to identify trends, recommend improvements and identify growth opportunities
Assist on enhancing and/or develop tools to support better decision making across the company, leveraging the Oracle EPM system and the data warehouse

Required

Sophomore, Junior and Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or other related discipline and/or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of finance fundamentals and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Interest in (reporting) databases like Oracle Cloud EPM, Tableau etc
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast paced high stress environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and exemplary oral/written communication skills
Self-starter, highly motivated with the demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
Ability to document and write recommendations
