Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions related to a specific subset of accounts on the GL

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS

Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain financial integrity

Monitor and manage the month-end and year-end close processes

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements

Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and performance feedback

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth

Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and operational efficiency
