Responsibilities

Create accurate 3D models using Tekla Structures for structural and miscellaneous steel projects

Generate fabrication and erection drawings, reports, and CNC files from the Tekla model

Interpret design drawings and project specifications to develop complete steel detailing packages

Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure constructability and accuracy

Participate in clash detection and model coordination reviews

Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Required

2+ years of experience in steel detailing using Tekla Structures

Strong understanding of structural and miscellaneous steel components

Familiarity with AISC standards and building codes

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred

Experience with connection design is a plus
