This role involves developing and maintaining schedules, generating cost performance reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective contract execution.
Responsibilities
Develop / maintain Integrated Master Schedules for a contract from the Design through Production cycle
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build a schedule to facilitate effective contract execution
Integrate Monthly Status and manage Change Control to the Program Schedule
Generate Cost Performance Reports monthly and present variance analysis on performance targets
Process the data required for financial forecasting and labour resource planning requirements
Identify schedule risk, recommend corrective actions
Develop and deliver reporting/presentations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Assist with new Bid & Proposal efforts
Develop and maintain departmental desktop procedures
Support both internal and external program audits
Qualification
Required
University Degree/College Diploma in a Technologist, Program Management or Finance discipline
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a Finance discipline
Demonstrated skill in scheduling software, project cost tracking software and MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience creating or maintaining metrics or other performance reports
Customer and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and solve problems
Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure
Experience applying Earned Value Management principles
Understanding of work breakdown structures
Self-motivated and effective in a multi-disciplinary team, including to facilitate discussions
Experience developing and delivering presentations
Demonstrated strong analytical & decision making skills
Demonstrated strong oral & written communication skills
Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
Preferred
Minimum 1-2 year relevant experience in the project management field
Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation
