Responsibilities

Must have a good attitude and willingness to do more than asked and work collaboratively within a team environment
Must be willing to keep a clean and organized shop environment
Work Well with engineering staff
Be familiar with metal AM printing including material characterization and process development
Be upper level Undergraduate or Graduate student in Materials Science/Engineering with hands on material testing experience
Have research experience applying engineering methodologies with working knowledge of 3D printing processes
Mechanical engineering background or experience is a plus

Required

Be upper level Undergraduate or Graduate student in Materials Science/Engineering with hands on material testing experience

Have earned a high school diploma or GED
Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a MA/MS or PhD Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered)
Are authorized to work in the U.S

Preferred

Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
Mechanical engineering background or experience is a plus
