Responsibilities

Ability to guide conversations with partners and own feature design against the product spec

Create UX wireframes and UI mock-ups in an iterative approach

Create prototypes using motion comp sketches and UI storyboarding

Stewards UI/UX design efforts through leadership approvals, iteration, and cross-functional implementation with occasional assistance from Production & Leadership

Applies a basic understanding of visual scripting (Blueprints) to jump-in and realize designs in-engine when needed

Build documentation to communicate UX vision, including items like competitive analyses, persona designs, user journeys, wireframes, flow diagrams and interactive prototypes

Required

Effective communicator with the ability to present complex ideas clearly through both written and verbal channel

Expertise in layout design and presentation, with mastery in using color and shape to establish visual hierarchy in UI compositions

Background in creating, maintaining and extending design systems

Proficiency in visual development and prototyping software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD; Balsamiq; Axure RP; Figma; Mural; etc.)

Familiarity working in game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, and other propriety or commercial engines), design toolsets, visual scripting, and production pipelines

Preferred

Motion graphics and animation proficiency is a plus
