Responsibilities
Order and review title reports for issuing title insurance; identify and resolve title defects, liens, and encumbrances related to residential and commercial transactions
Establish escrow accounts by depositing funds and maintaining complete and accurate records
Prepare transaction and closing documents by completing required forms and statements; collect, review, and verify supporting documentation
Independently handle certain escrow transactions from opening through closing with minimal supervision
Work closely with Escrow, Title, and Underwriting teams to identify, mitigate, and reduce transactional risk
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, including strict adherence to wire fraud prevention procedures
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Corporate and NCS policies and procedures
Stay current on industry practices through continuing education, professional publications, and networking
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience as an Escrow Assistant
Valid licensing and/or certification as required by applicable state regulations
Currently located in, or willing to relocate to, Northwest Arkansas for an in-office role
Preferred
Direct experience handling residential and/or commercial escrow transactions strongly preferred
