Responsibilities
Develop and enforce robust quality management systems tailored for Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scopes
Manage QA/QC procedures including creation and distribution of checklists, inspections, punch lists, and detailed reports
Utilize client or company-mandated platforms to manage quality-related functions such as checklists and issue tracking
Monitor existing quality control programs; conduct comprehensive audits; oversee construction activities to ensure alignment with project standards
Proactively identify issues that impede efficiency; implement solutions to reduce defects; track and report on quality metrics across various projects
Provide mentorship to Project Engineers, Project Managers, Superintendents; build high-performing teams dedicated to project excellence
Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors ensuring all parties align with the overarching quality objectives
Maintain meticulous records of inspections and audits; ensure thorough reporting by internal staff and third-party inspectors
Strengthen client trust through demonstrated commitment to delivering top-tier quality in every project phase
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years' experience in construction QA/QC on large-scale projects essential. These projects must have been in semiconductor or data center projects
Comprehensive knowledge across civil, architectural, mechanical electrical scopes vital for success in this role
A proficient understanding of construction inspections, testing processes protocols, including ASTM standards, ANSI APWA ACI guidelines, is necessary
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is a plus
At least 5 years in a senior managerial capacity overseeing QA/QC functions preferred
Benefits
Schedule: 5x10s (with the last 10 hours at OT)
Per Diem: 7-day per diem at the GSA rate
