As a Summer Intern in Engineering, you will work on impactful projects related to renewable energy and sustainability, gaining hands-on experience with the steam cycle process and contributing to safety improvements.

Responsibilities
Partner with Operations and Maintenance Supervisors to learn the Steam Plant’s entire steam cycle process
Attend daily briefings, as well as planning, safety and outage meetings
Identify areas for improvement and to enhance safety
Assist during outages
Produce a PNID/blueprint to show understanding of the process
Partner with team on opportunities to enhance blueprints/PNIDs
Create a presentation to present learning, PNID/blueprint, safety recommendations, and any other learning to management at end of internship
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an Engineering (Mechanical or chemical preferred) Bachelor's Degree program as a Junior or Senior
Positive, motivated self-starter who can take an assignment and run with it
