NOW CFO is a growing, multi-entity organization in the parking and transportation services space, seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Atlanta-based accounting team. This role is highly hands-on, supporting day-to-day accounting operations and leading close activities while ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple properties and business units.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations across multiple entities and properties
Prepare and review monthly financial statements
Analyze P&L trends, variances, and key operational drivers
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
Assist with year-end close, audits, and tax-related requests
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Payroll, and Billing teams
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies
Support ERP-related initiatives, including system enhancements or conversions
Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to internal accounting policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-location environment
Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with leadership
Time and task management skills with the ability to handle competing priorities
Strong general ledger and financial statement experience
High attention to detail and accuracy
Exposure to SAP
Experience working closely with Accounting Managers or Controllers
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, operationally driven business

Preferred

Experience with Sage Intacct
Experience supporting ERP implementations or system transitions
Background in service-based, property-based, or operational accounting environments
