Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) is seeking an experienced and collaborative academic leader to serve as its next Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs. The Provost will be responsible for academic management and oversight of the University’s five colleges and programs, while advancing the academic and scholarly excellence of the institution.

Responsibilities

Serve as the chief academic officer with responsibility for academic management and oversight of the University’s five colleges, schools, and programs

Work in partnership with the Vice President of Research to bolster research endeavors and opportunities

Elevate the academic standing of the University and support the professional growth of faculty and staff

Advance PNWU as an inclusive learning community and cultivate a culture of optimism, trust, and collaboration

Invest in the recruitment, development, and retention of top faculty and university administrators

Advance the capabilities and impact of the Office of the Provost

Develop new and support existing programs, and advance organizational capacity

Required

Earned academic credentials suitable for full academic rank at PNWU

Hold a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree

Clinical experience in an appropriate health sciences field or related discipline

A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in academic administration at an institution of higher education, or an academic health center of similar complexity

Progressive and broad experience leading across multiple graduate programs
