Responsibilities
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and post journal entries
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank and credit card accounts
Maintain general ledger accuracy in accordance with GAAP
Record and reconcile job costs, including labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of WIP schedules
Track and reconcile underbillings and overbillings
Review job cost reports and investigate variances
Process vendor invoices and ensure proper job cost coding
Assist with subcontractor compliance and lien waivers
Support customer billing, including progress billings and change orders
Help manage collections and cash application
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction
Basic understanding of job costing and WIP concepts
Proficiency in Excel
