Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Own all core cost accounting functions, including:
Standard cost updates
Inventory valuation
Manufacturing overhead analysis
Production variance analysis
BOM (Bill of Materials) review
Prepare detailed financial statements, management reports, and cost analysis for leadership
Partner with operations, production, and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and operational performance
Support the budgeting and forecasting process with cost‑focused insights
Ensure compliance with GAAP and establish/maintain strong internal controls
Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audits
Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
5+ years of accounting experience, with MUST HAVE 2+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience
Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost analysis
Experience working within manufacturing, production, or industrial environments
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel
Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
