Responsibilities
Create, evaluate, and review MF documentation in support of steam valve manufacturing and refurbishment
Analyze shop floor inputs (data & findings), design requirements, and manufacturing capability to formulate quality design engineering recommendations
Provide manufacturing engineering support for new valve products, processes, and technologies (routing, special tooling costs, risks, etc.)
Design and manufacture tooling and fixtures for steam valve production
Support product quality and improvements to minimize non-conformance (both proactive and reactive)

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a Manufacturing or Engineering related concentration
5+ years of hands-on experience with machining, welding, assembly procedures and troubleshooting mechanical assemblies
Technical leadership in Manufacturing Safety, Quality, Processes, Technology, and Execution of Product Work scope
Strong communication skills and flexibility to support urgent customer projects, including nights and weekends in the factory
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred
Previous experience with steam valves is strongly preferred
Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level
