Responsibilities
Analyzes drawings, sketches and design data of part to determine dimension and configuration
Computes angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures and outlines sequence of operations required to machine part
Maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment by cleaning, lubricating and adjusting parts
Revises program to eliminate instruction error or omissions
Must follow all safety rules and regulations, including the reporting of any hazards, violations, or injuries to your Team Leader no matter how minor
Must operate safety equipment and help provide a safe working environment by maintaining good housekeeping practices
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required by the Team Leader and to meet our customer needs
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Read a tape measure both in metric and standard
Must be able to use calipers
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (metguard boots, protective eyewear, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, etc.)
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, preferred
