Administrative Outreach Coordinator – NORC Program

Bronx House is seeking an Administrative Outreach Coordinator for their NORC Program. This role provides administrative support and coordinates outreach efforts to connect older adult residents with services and resources, ensuring smooth operation and accessibility of programs designed to support aging in place.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support for the NORC Program, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and data entry
Maintain participant databases, attendance records, and service referrals in accordance with confidentiality guidelines
Prepare reports, correspondence, flyers, and program materials
Assist with tracking program outcomes, service utilization, and grant-related documentation
Support budgeting, purchasing, and invoice tracking as directed
Communicate program updates internally and externally
Conduct outreach to NORC residents to promote programs, services, and events
Serve as a welcoming point of contact for older adults and caregivers at the community center
Assist with enrollment, intake scheduling, and follow-up with program participants
Coordinate communication with residents via phone calls, newsletters, postings, and digital platforms
Support culturally responsive outreach to ensure programs are accessible to diverse older adults

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of administrative, outreach, or human services experience
Full professional proficiency in Spanish
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Outreach community experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Ability to work effectively with older adults and diverse populations
Experience working in aging services, NORC programs, senior centers, or community-based nonprofits

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree
