Business Development Representative (New York City)
CoverForce is redefining how insurance is bought and sold with a fully digital platform. The Business Development Representative will engage in outbound prospecting to create leads and set meetings, playing a critical role in the company's sales efforts.

Responsibilities
Make 80 or more live outbound calls every day
Set 10 or more qualified meetings every week for the Account Executive team
Own proactive outbound prospecting into top Brokerages, Wholesalers, Agency Networks, PEOs, and Insuretechs
Handle and route inbound leads with clear and fast triage
Build account maps, identify buying centers, and find the people who care about distribution modernization
Tailor messaging that resonates with leaders navigating complex operational, technical, and growth challenges
Work closely with Account Executives to align on strategy, context, and handoff quality for every meeting
Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene with accurate funnel activity, notes, and next steps
Track industry shifts and competitive movements so you can speak with insight and confidence
Bring ideas that sharpen our outbound motion and help shape a world class go to market team
Qualification
Required
1 to 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within tech or insurance
Thrive in an environment where volume, consistency, and curiosity separate good from great
Energized by outbound work and enjoy the mix of research, pattern recognition, and outreach
Confident in written and verbal communication and can simplify technical or operational concepts
Disciplined with tools like Salesforce or HubSpot and treat CRM accuracy as part of the job
Desire for real coaching, real responsibility, and a real path toward an Account Executive role
Willingness to be part of a team that moves quickly, raises standards, and expects your best
