Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Power BI solutions, focusing on tabular modeling, report development, and data warehouse integration, as well as advanced analytics and DAX capabilities

SQL Server skills with focus on Performance, High Availability, and Failover Clustering is a plus

The ideal candidate will play a key role in design, development and optimization of Power BI and SQL Server implementations along with assisting in migration and modernization of solutions to Azure

Primarily will be driving Power BI engagements with SQL Server as the secondary engagements

Additionally, they should be comfortable delivering workshops and upskilling sessions and be adept at presenting to groups of 20+ attendees

Enterprise level support and administration focused specifically on: Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tabular Data Modeling, SQL performance and tuning optimization

Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements

Extensive experience with Power BI development

Optimize and tune Power BI reports and datasets for performance

Implement Power BI Embedded solutions for external-facing applications

Proficiency in DAX for developing complex calculations and measures

Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and experience with integration of data warehouse

Previous Consulting and/or customer facing role

Delivering and/or authoring technical training

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Power BI features and capabilities, implementing best practices for report design and performance optimization
