Responsibilities
Lead development of hardware and software prototypes for a confidential project within Worldwide Grocery Stores organization, focusing on customer-facing innovations that merge physical and digital retail experiences
Use GenAI tools to accelerate all work, including prototype development, inventory inbound processing, database construction, tester operations, and video analysis
Design and build dynamic prototypes that communicate with each other and demonstrate novel in-store digital experiences, while ensuring technical feasibility and implementation quality
Collaborate closely with UX Designers to translate complex requirements into working prototypes while ensuring seamless integration between physical and digital touch points
Lead prototyping efforts in a lab environment, including hardware/software integration, user testing, and technical feasibility analysis of proposed solutions
Support testing operations by being on-site before and during testing events, to help set up, troubleshoot, and conduct usability experiments
Qualification
Required
3+ years of Front-End Technologist, Engineer, or UX Prototyping experience
Front end coding/front end capability
Stitch together digital hardware
Software experience
Available online portfolio
Experience developing visually polished, engaging, multi-user UX prototypes
Coding samples in front end programming languages
Deep knowledge of mobile prototyping using HTML/CSS/JS and Swift for iOS
Experience using GenAI tools like Claude Code, Cline, Codex or similar
Experience collaborating with UX, Product, and technical partners
