Midday Program Host
PBS Wisconsin is seeking a seasoned live radio talent to host their popular midday and Garden Talk broadcasts. The role involves interviewing guests, moderating live callers, and preparing content for a daily 2-hour live radio show.

Responsibilities
Delivers on-air content for various platforms that may include facilitating on-air conversations and/or providing informational content for audiences
May represent the unit at public events, participating in promotional, community, and fundraising events as necessary
Serves as a resource for questions and projects
Develops and contributes content that may include interviewing sources, programming music, writing stories and completing other necessary production tasks as assigned to create content
Maintains familiarity with studio equipment and applicable technology for production and/or broadcast
Tests and operates studio broadcasting technology and equipment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years of live radio hosting experience
Experience working with a team of creative production staff
Superior communication skills, including excellent writing skills for broadcast and web
Preferred
Familiarity with studios, equipment and engineering systems
Experience with live call-in format
Experience in Public Media
Strong organizational skills, ability to work within tight deadlines and manage competing responsibilities
