Paralegal I Supporting the US Attorneys Office
FSA Federal is focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security, and they are seeking a Paralegal I to support the US Attorney's Office. In this role, you will conduct legal research, review legal instruments, and gather facts for cases while ensuring compliance with government regulations.

Responsibilities
Provide Apprentice examination of legal instruments
Review legal instruments (completeness of information, proper execution)
Conduct research and obtain additional information related to specific cases
Determine correctness of action (per Government regulations, procedures, etc)
Research records (to ascertain conditions that might preclude action)
Provide assistance on instruments
Provide information on instruments
Gather facts for cases and routine reports
Perform initial review of petitions
Verify citations and legal references on legal documents
Proficiency with numerous software including IPRO, CASEMAP, QUICKBOOKS, and MICROSOFT SUITE
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and be a 'team-player'
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED; Four year undergraduate degree preferred
Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions
Good oral and written communications skills
Must possess a demonstrated ability to analyze documents to extract selected information
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation
Proficiency with numerous software including IPRO, CASEMAP, QUICKBOOKS, and MICROSOFT SUITE
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and be a 'team-player'
