They are seeking a highly motivated Sign Permit Coordinator responsible for overseeing the application, approval, and compliance processes related to signage permits while ensuring adherence to local zoning regulations and facilitating communication between stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Code Review: Review local zoning and code restrictions associated with specific parcels of land. Assess implementation or suggest revisions to the scope of work
Permit Application Management: Review and process sign permit applications for accuracy and compliance with local regulations, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on signage regulations at local, state, and federal levels; coordinate site surveys with the project manager
Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for customers and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and collaborating with city planners and zoning officials to facilitate approvals
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of permit applications and inspections; prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders as needed
Problem Solving: Resolve issues or disputes during the permit process promptly; offer alternative design recommendations when current designs do not meet code

Required

Experience in permitting, urban planning, or zoning regulations is a plus

Ability to execute quickly within a fast-growing company
Bachelor's degree in a related field
