Responsibilities
Analyze current processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology
Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements
Work closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team
Collaborate with the Product Owner to evaluate the Features, write effective user stories, document business rules
Review technical design, identify enablers and dependencies with the Developers
Provide support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements and determine whether a defect is a new requirement, or truly a defect
Communicate and work with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts satisfy the requirements
Qualification
Required
Must have excellent analytical skills and at least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution
Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements for business requirements
Ability to communicate and work with developers to ensure that acceptance criteria for the user stories are understood and applied
Provides support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements and determine whether a defect is a new requirement, or truly a defect
Ability to communicate and work with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts satisfy the requirements
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to facilitate discussions
Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision
Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities
Working knowledge of agile tools such as JIRA
3+ years practical agile experience
Experience in being a Product Owner or working closely with Product Owner to define business needs
Business Analyst experience in converting business needs into epics and stories
Experience refining business processes
Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with both technical and business team members with ease
