Responsibilities
Administer network devices, perform routine maintenance, monitor system performance and availability
Implement and manage system backups, patching, and configuration updates
Enforce cybersecurity policies, including DISA STIGs and RMF controls
Support routing and switching configurations, firewall policies, and network transport
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in lab and operational environments
Support virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions
Document system configurations, procedures, and maintenance logs
Experience with cybersecurity tools such as HBSS, ACAS, and SCAP tools
Qualification
Required
Must have a minimum seven (7) years experience in system administration (e.g., Windows or Linux operating systems or Networking)
US citizen with an active SECRET clearance with a current SSBI/T5 investigation, TS/SCI desired
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
Operating System Certificate (e.g., Linux+, Windows Server, CCNA, etc.)
CSWF IAT II required at a minimum
Preferred
Master's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, desired
Familiarity with Navy and Joint networking architectures
Routing and Switching
Firewalls
Networking protocols
Scripting and automation using tools like Ansible
