Responsibilities
Prospecting & Territory Growth – Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities within the finishing, plastics and composites markets
Client Relationship Management – Build long-term partnerships with C-suite executives, marketing leaders, and technical decision-makers
Consultative Selling – Conduct impactful in-person and virtual presentations, showcasing Gardner’s media and event solutions
Pipeline & Reporting – Manage accounts and opportunities using CRM tools; track progress toward monthly and quarterly targets
Industry Engagement – Represent Gardner at trade shows, conferences, and networking events; stay informed on industry trends
Collaboration – Partner with sales leadership and marketing to develop campaigns and strategies that drive customer success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Proven success in B2B or B2C outside sales; experience in manufacturing, media, or technical markets strongly preferred
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with ability to engage senior-level decision-makers
Self-motivated and able to manage a multi-state territory with significant travel
CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Goal-oriented, competitive, and eager to exceed targets
