Responsibilities

Help design executive compensation frameworks that support the firm’s ability to attract and retain top leadership talent
Draft and advise on executive compensation matters including but not limited to employment agreements and offer letters for investment professionals and senior management, long-term incentive compensation, and deferred compensation
Assist with non-compete structure and documentation
Monitor and advise on evolving legal, tax, and regulatory developments affecting executive compensation
Translate complex legal issues into practical guidance for business leaders across Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams

Qualification

J.D. degreeExecutive compensation experienceTax expertiseFinancial services experienceMultitasking abilityEthical standardsCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsAttention to detailOrganizational skills

Required

J.D. degree from an accredited law school, and membership in at least one state bar
7+ years of experience in executive compensation, with experience in the financial services industry
Capacity to multitask, effectively prioritize, and stay organized in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to operate autonomously and see projects and activities through to completion, escalating issues as deemed necessary
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Superb attention to detail and the tenacity to produce meticulous work product
Relevant tax expertise in the compensation space
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
