Responsibilities
Install, service, and troubleshoot commercial access control systems
Handle a mix of service work, system upgrades, and new installations
Install and troubleshoot controllers, readers, power supplies, and door hardware
Configure and program access control systems and software
Read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and scopes of work
Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other trades
Perform system testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation
Maintain a clean, professional presence on job sites
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on commercial access control experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience with common access control platforms such as: Lenel, Paxton, Avigilon, HID, Openpath or similar platforms
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Valid driver's license and safe driving record
High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Preferred
Experience with security camera systems
Experience with electrified door hardware and locking devices
Manufacturer certifications (or willingness to obtain them)
Experience supporting multi-site or enterprise systems
