Responsibilities
This includes verifying information, time cards, additional hours, contracts and deductions
Entering data into the computer
After payroll has run, checking to make sure everything has paid properly and all deductions have been taken out correctly
Fold and stuff checks and direct deposits with folding machine
Group departmental, US Mail and checks in Payroll together
Pass out payroll checks
Answer paycheck-related questions
Sort and file time cards and other papers as needed
Answer phones and open mail
Retrieve necessary documents for audits
Process billing which includes paying bills online and preparing check requests
Sorting and filing as needed
Assist with all other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Assist the Payroll Department with processes
Verify information, time cards, additional hours, contracts and deductions
Enter data into the computer
