Tech Lead Manager, Customer Experience AI

The Tech Lead Manager on the Customer Experience team will oversee the software development process, mentor engineers, and develop customer-facing AI platforms to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities
Oversee the team's software development process
Design and develop compelling features by collaborating with product/business, UX, QA, backend, and other client engineers
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team's engineers, including helping them to learn new technologies and solve complex problems
Work with the team to identify and resolve technical issues, includes troubleshooting problems, debugging code, and performing code reviews
Lead the technical software design and implementation through hands-on development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
10 years of front-end development experience working with Web technologies (e.g. Javascript, Typescript, CSS), with at least 5 years working on public customer-facing products
2 years of full stack development experience (ideally Java or Kotlin)
2 years of experience in a technical leadership role
1 year of experience implementing or integrating AI platforms
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience with Next.js, ReactJS, AngularJS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience of mobile development or multi-layer architectural designs to support mobile teams
Ability to collaborate with UX and product owners
Experience working with ambiguous product requirements and translating them into strict technical scope
