Responsibilities

Guide systems engineering efforts for aviation‑focused defense programs, ensuring alignment between mission needs, hardware capabilities, and software functionality

Support flight‑test operations, including preparation, on‑site engineering assistance, system integration, and post‑test data review

Develop and manage system‑level requirements, interface definitions, and verification strategies for airborne and ground‑based mission systems

Collaborate on the integration of electronic hardware, including sensors, processors, and communication modules

Work with RF and radio‑frequency subsystems, contributing to design discussions, troubleshooting, and performance assessments

Contribute to technical reviews and milestone assessments, providing engineering insight and risk identification

Adapt to evolving test conditions and program priorities, supporting hands‑on integration and system validation activities

Required

Active Top Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, plus relevant professional experience

At least four (4) years of engineering experience in systems, hardware, software, or related technical fields

Experience applying systems engineering practices, including requirements development, interface management, and verification planning

Exposure to aviation or aerospace systems, particularly within defense environments

Hands‑on familiarity with electronic hardware and system‑level integration

Understanding of RF or radio‑electronics fundamentals

Ability to support flight‑test activities, including coordination with test teams and on‑site engineering work

Basic knowledge of C++ or other programming languages

Ability to adjust to shifting technical and program demands
