Public Records Act (PRA) & Special Projects Coordinator
The California State Lottery is looking for a Public Records Act (PRA) & Special Projects Coordinator to join their public affairs and communications team. This role involves communicating with Lottery leadership and managing public records requests while supporting a team of media professionals.
Responsibilities
Serve an important role in communicating across Lottery leadership and with individuals requesting public records from the department
Work alongside and support expert communicators and a team of creative media professionals within CA Lottery's Public Affairs and Communications division
Qualification
Required
Current Analyst I exam
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude
Ability to take direction and accept feedback
Ability to ask the right questions and complete multiple assignments under deadlines
Preferred
Demonstrates strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Demonstrates strong understanding of punctuation and grammar
Ability to prioritize, juggle, and complete assignments with deadlines
Excellent attention to detail

Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other communications technology platforms
