Responsibilities
Redesign facility layouts to enhance workflow and space utilization
Validate layout proposals to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards
Optimize material flow to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement layout changes
Prepare and maintain accurate layout documentation using AutoCAD or similar tools
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design tools
Experience with mid-scale layout changes in manufacturing environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
All engineers must hold a 4-year engineering degree in their respective discipline
Preferred
Experience in facility layout planning within automotive or industrial environments
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with material flow optimization
