Responsibilities
Demonstrate proper lifting
Read and understand the SOP for moving a pallet, and demonstrate safe pallet moving
Understand E-stop +1 for the tape machine
Set up tape machine, size up belts, and ready the labeler and information that needs to be entered into the computer
Read and understand SOP for printing a pallet ticket
Demonstrate the ability to print a pallet ticket with no errors
Check PRB papers with schedule and ensure all associated information coordinates before starting a batch
Responsible for checking the information on the product (Line number, Pull Date, Batch Number) and verifying it against the box label, box, and PRB paper
Check to ensure proper boxes are being used
Learn and palletize proper tie of boxes with appropriate product
Wrap pallet properly with three wraps on the top wrap to ensure boxes are secure for transportation
Demonstrate good rework practice (keeping clips and casing out of rework)
Demonstrate ability to palletize independently after the third day of training
Be able to print pallet tickets with no errors, with work still verified, after the third day
Know the tie and height of each product by the end of the first month
Communicate effectively with the Line Operator on the batch number being produced
Communicate with packers about when to stop and start sending boxes and when a batch ends
