Responsibilities
Participate on-site and in the field during software, electrical, and systems testing
Observe, capture, and document test procedures, results, defects, and corrective actions
Draft, edit, and finalize test reports, validation documentation, and technical summaries
Translate engineering feedback and test data into standardized, professional documentation
Ensure documentation aligns with safety protocols, internal standards, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality assurance, and project teams
Maintain document version control and organized records
Support audits, reviews, and project milestones with accurate reporting
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in engineering, systems, transportation, or safety-critical environments
Exceptional technical writing, editing, and attention to detail
Ability to understand and document software, electrical, or systems test results
Comfort working on site in active testing or industrial environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and standard documentation tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
