Financial Analyst
LandCare LLC is seeking a Financial Analyst responsible for financial accounting, reporting, and analysis of business performance. The role involves partnering with Branch Managers and Regional Vice President to develop strategies for improving financial performance through forecasting, budgeting, and month-end reviews.
Environmental Services
Responsibilities
Accurate and timely preparation of branch and region P&L statements
Develop and monitor branch and region budgets and forecasts
Lead branches through the month end close process
Coach and mentor branch teams to understand their financial performance and the tools available to help them run a profitable business
Oversight of branch level administrative processes including but not limited to accounts receivable, billing, purchasing, accounts payable and payroll
Qualification
Required
Four-year accounting or related degree, or equivalent experience
4-6 years of general accounting experience
Knowledge of accounting principles and systems - command of journal entries
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Analytical ability and business acumen
Communication and leadership skills
Decision-making and reasoning skills
Preferred
An interest in continuous learning, and a willingness to teach others
Detail oriented and accuracy of work product
Pride in and ownership of work product and business results
Team oriented: work well with others and has excellent interpersonal skills
