Responsibilities

Evaluates and recommends most refrigeration design philosophies for project and determines engineering systems to be provided to meet the project program and client needs
Works independently and is technically capable of providing most detailed calculations and specifications required to develop and define refrigeration systems
Responsible for review of project submittals and shop drawings
Conducts site surveys to determine conformance with design intent during construction and to evaluate existing refrigeration system conditions during design. Prepares reports to document surveys
Evaluates and responds to field questions, evaluates contractor alternates during bidding and construction. Makes recommendations for the resolution of conflicts
Troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with clients to provide excellent customer service

Required

Experience working with Ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems and related technologies
Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices within the refrigeration field
Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
