3+ years expLHH is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support the accounting function within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring strong internal controls.

Responsibilities
Manage daily and monthly accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Support the month-end close process with timely preparation of schedules and financial reports
Review and analyze manufacturing-related financial data, including production costs, inventory activity, and operational variances
Partner with operations, supply chain, A/R, and A/P teams to ensure proper accounting for inventory movement and manufacturing transactions
Monitor and explain fluctuations in balance sheet and income statement accounts
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable standards
Assist with internal controls and support SOX-related processes, if applicable
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audit requests
Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management as needed
Perform additional duties as required
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Solid understanding of US GAAP
Strong Excel skills
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
CPA or CPA track
Experience in cost or inventory accounting
Exposure to manufacturing ERP systems
