They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in building engineering systems and construction project management, contributing to the lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects.

Responsibilities
Perform heat loss/gain load calculations and interpret results
Select and schedule HVAC equipment
Size and layout hydronic piping and HVAC ductwork
Collaborate with the estimating team on bid opportunities
Assist project managers with vendor solicitations, equipment submittals, and site visits
Engage with field personnel to understand installation processes
Work with the team to solve engineering challenges
Present findings clearly and concisely
Research, compile, and analyze complex data to form sound conclusions
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in engineering, design, project management, or related field
Basic understanding of heat transfer, thermal envelopes, airflow, and water flow calculations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize and take initiative
Team player who learns quickly and applies knowledge effectively
Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
