Responsibilities
Apply strong knowledge of debits and credits in daily accounting activities
Perform Accounts Receivable reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Process and reconcile cash receipts
Support program accounting activities (not corporate or traditional accrual accounting)
Conduct heavy research, particularly related to student withdrawals and account adjustments
Maintain and analyze large volumes of data in Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Prepare and manage student accounting transactions, requiring a high level of visibility and precision
Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and other data analysis tools
Participate in and support ad hoc projects as assigned
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to pivot as business needs evolve
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field
Basic understanding of the General Ledger (GL)
Experience with debits and credits, AR reconciliations, and cash receipts
Strong analytical and research skills
Advanced Excel proficiency required; candidates should be comfortable working extensively in Excel
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
