Responsibilities
Design, install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, networking, and peripheral hardware
Implement and maintain OS, virtualization platforms, and system monitoring tools
Collaborate with software, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure hardware compatibility and optimal system performance
Manage system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management
Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure performance issues
Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery capabilities for critical systems
Implement security policies, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation
Support technical problem solving, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
Qualification
Required
Must have minimum 5 years of experience with Hardware & Infrastructure – Setting-up Servers (Dell, HP, Cisco), Storage systems and configuration of Networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls)
Strong experience with Operating Systems both Linux and Windows Servers
Virtualization & Cloud Platforms – VMware, AWS, Azure
Database & Application Support – Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
Scripting & Automation – Bash, PowerShell, Python
Networking Protocols – TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, Subnetting, Firewalls, Routing/Switching
System Monitoring & Management – Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, SolarWinds
Qualifications: BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
