They are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to support pathology laboratory projects in Research and Development, focusing on designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks.

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.)

Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in software development and testing, with a significant focus on test automation framework design and implementation

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance)

Significant experience with industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)

Adept in at least one object-oriented programming and scripting language used for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, C#)

Proficient using CI/CD tools and test management tools and processes (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

Have experience using AI tools to perform automated test planning, development, execution, analysis and reporting

Proven experience in mentoring and training junior team members

Possess excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
