Responsibilities
Receive order via phone, e-mail, and fax
Enter orders into the system
Confirm pricing and available inventory before sending an order to the shipping department
Follow all guidelines of entering an order
Communicate with customers on shipping schedule, pricing, product availability product/shipping documentation, sample request and loading requirements, and order confirmation
Enter data into system for invoicing
Sample follow-up
Maintain and update system database regarding customer contact and payment information
This position requires physical activity including occasional lifting for the purpose of organizing office materials and lots of movement in walking to and from departments
All other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Ability to quickly become expert in the company's products and capabilities, and be able to clearly explain them to potential and current clients
Professional communication skills both written and oral as well as great listening and people skills
Ability to keep meticulous notes
Ability to create a personal sales and marketing plan to continually develop leads and referrals
Associate (Required)
English (Required)
Preferred
GED or High School graduate preferred
Experience in customer service or order entry
