Responsibilities
Job intake - As jobs come in, you’ll get up to speed and understand all of the details
Pre-Construction checklist - You’ll help our customers obtain their MassSave heat loan, gather information for permits, and generally be their sherpa through a process that takes 1-4 weeks
Talking to homeowners (a lot), answering their questions and keeping them updated
Working with our warehouse division to get materials and get permits lined up
Partnering with field supervision and leadership teams to schedule and assign install crews
Working within modern systems and helping keep them up to date (Hubspot, work management software, etc)
Sending invoices and making sure we get paid
When you’re ready, negotiating change orders and managing margin on jobs
Spotting problems before they happen and pitching ideas to make us better
Qualification
Required
Organized, tenacious, sharp, and curious
Ability to handle a million moving parts without dropping the ball
Ability to figure things out
Ability to ask questions when something is unclear
Ability to speak up if there's a better way to do something
Ability to build a playbook when there's no existing one
Local to the Boston area and up for mostly in-person working
Thrives in organized chaos
Loves a challenge and working with a hardworking team
Can stay composed when things go sideways
Good communication skills with homeowners via phone, virtually, email, and in person
Ability to juggle multiple tasks without getting overwhelmed
Ability to raise hand and ask for help when needed
Comfortable with learning and using new tech tools (G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, scheduling software)
Intrigued by AI and excited to work within a company that wants to use it
Preferred
Experience in construction, trades, or HVAC
Experience scheduling crews or managing field teams
Experience handling invoices, paperwork, or permits
