New Grad, Entry LevelArcosa Aggregates is seeking a Quality Assurance Tech based out of their Ferris, Texas office to test aggregates materials to meet industry standards. This role involves testing sand and gravel to ensure quality compliance and maintaining records as required.

Responsibilities
Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
You will test aggregate materials based on established quality specifications
Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
Use calculators, computers, telephone, sand shakers, scale, splitter, ovens and wet ball machine for material testing
Maintain quality records as required
Adhere to Arcosa’s Compliance Validation Plan
Perform other related duties as assigned, include day trips to local plants as needed
Qualification
Required

The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
Ability to stand on concrete 7-8 hours a day
Attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software
