They are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer IV to oversee the technical execution of a mobile backend ecosystem for a Customer Self-Service Companion application, ensuring reliability and hands-on involvement in critical areas.
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and development of an Angular application wrapped with Ionic/Capacitor, including state management, modular design, AWS cloud, and iOS-specific integrations
Act as a player/coach by setting coding standards, performing code reviews, mentoring developers, and owning CI/CD iOS builds, signing, and harness pipelines
Drive best practices for iOS performance, security, offline support, and UX quality to deliver a stable, production-ready mobile app
Own overall system architecture, including mobile backend services, messaging, and data stores
Lead design decisions for event-driven architectures, push notifications, real-time updates, and authentication/authorization flows
Set development standards and code quality expectations
Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum delivery model to ensure quality outcomes
Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines, and governance for web applications and websites
Stay updated on the latest technologies and innovations in web application development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Mastery of modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JS frameworks (e.g., Angular.js, jQuery)
Experience with responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and page optimization
Knowledge of SEO concepts and coding for Search Engine Optimization
Proficiency in REST APIs, AJAX, XML, XSD, XSL, XPATH, and MVC Frameworks
Advanced skills in object-oriented coding and scripting languages such as Java, .NET/C#, PHP, and Ruby
Experience with relational database modeling and creating advanced SQL queries/procedures
Ability to set up and configure websites with IIS and Apache
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to travel to off-site locations if required
